SMALL GROUP OFFERINGS:

The Gospel of Mark: The Immediacy of the Kingdom of God:
The Rev. Buddy Crawford
Parlor

Mark opens with this verse: “The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God,” an appropriate introduction for this earliest gospel. This class will explore the unique characteristics of Mark and how this text influenced Matthew, Luke, and John.

Faith & Fiction:
Sally Parsonson, Ph.D
Large Conference Room

This class discusses the evidences of our faith as depicted in fiction. Each week we read a story from an anthology of short stories (for homework) and then discuss in the Sunday morning group how the author’s vision pulls us into a story and illuminates our own experiences of faith. The anthology will be available for purchase in class.
