Good Friday: Friday April 6

• Eucharist with Reserved Sacraments and Veneration of the Cross will be held in the Parish Hall at 12 pm *

• Stations of the Cross will be held in the Parish Hall at 6 pm (for families with young children) and 7 pm

* Nursery Care provided

At Holy Innocents’ as with many churches in the Episcopal tradition, we keep a watch throughout the night until the Good Friday service the next day and any who wish are invited to come and sit with the Blessed Sacrament.

Good Friday (Holy Friday), we commemorate the passion, or suffering, and death on the cross of Christ. The name may be derived from 'God's Friday' in the same way that good-bye is derived from 'God be with ye'.  Many spend this day in fasting, prayer, repentance, and meditation on the agony and suffering of Christ on the cross.
