An Evening with Eben Alexander

On Saturday, February 2, Dr. Eben Alexander will be at HIEC for a book signing followed by a lecture from 7-8 pm.

Dr. Alexander's book: Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife is currently the #1 best seller on the NY Times Paperback Best Seller list.  Eben had a near death experience several years ago. With a rare E. coli infection of the brain and spinal column, doctors had given up on him and called our rector, Michael Sullivan, for Last Rites. Miraculously, Eben recovered and documented his experience in his novel that has been featured on the Today Show, Oprah, 20/20, etc. More information about Dr. Alexander can be found here: http://www.lifebeyonddeath.net/home.

The doors will open at 5:30 pm. The Cathedral Bookstore will be at HIEC that Saturday selling copies of Eben’s book for the signing that will begin at 6 pm. The lecture following the signing will be held in the Nave at HIEC.

• There is a suggested donation of $10 that will be designated for HIEC Youth Ministries. This event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
