Church of the Common Ground resumes on June 2! PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP YOUR FAMILY OR PARISH GROUP. We need volunteers to:
- Buy the groceries at Costco and deliver them to the Parish (or finding someone to do so). We have a detailed list of what is needed (around $185), and the Parish will fully reimburse you!
- Supervise the preparation of the 70 sack lunches in the parish hall on Sunday morning. We usually gather at 11:10 or so to start the process, which takes 35 to 45 minutes.
- Take the lunches to the CCG Sunday church service and attend the service. This is the best part! The service starts at 1:00 outdoors at the north end of Woodruff Park. After the service (around 2:00), the lunches are handed out to the parishioners. Other than bringing the lunches to the service, there is no specific task at the service, other than enjoying the service, the clergy and the parishioners.
Upcoming Summer Dates: July 14 and August 18! Sign up today by contacting
