Holy Innocents' Episcopal School is an Episcopal day school enrolling boys and girls in Pre-School through Grade 12. The School was founded in 1959 by parishioners of Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church to provide children with an enriching educational program in a Christian environment. Holy Innocents' seeks to provide a superior program that encourages intellectual, social, spiritual, and physical growth in an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance. The School emphasizes learning as a lifelong process and strives to accommodate the individual learning styles of students. The religious program provides knowledge of Christian teaching while fostering respect for and understanding of other beliefs. All Students participate in weekly chapel and Eucharist and community service.
 

The Board of Trustees directs the governance of the school, working under the Vestry of the church. While a Vestry member is appointed to serve as a regular member of the school Board, the Head of School, the Board Chair, and at least 40 percent of the Board of Trustees are HIEC parishioners. The Rector is a member of the Board and works closely with the Head, Chair and Chaplains as an advocate of the school's Episcopal character. The Chaplains play an active role in Sunday worship services in addition to school duties.
