Emmaus House Food Pantry:  Throughout the month of September, we at Holy Innocents’ Parish (church and school) will be running a food drive for Emmaus House Food Pantry.  Emmaus House Food Pantry serves families living in and around Peoplestown.  Please participate with us to support this important ministry.  Donated food items can be brought to the Rainbow Lobby at the church.  Most pressing needs:  Bag/box of rice; boxed mac and cheese mix; pasta; canned tomato sauce, pasta sauce, diced tomatoes; large box of non-sugar cereal (not mega box); powered milk; tuna; canned meat “meals” - beef stew, ravioli, spagettios; Ramen noodles.

Women’s Wisdom Circle – Monday mornings from 8:30 -9:45 beginning Sept 13.  Come to HI and start your week with good coffee and authentic , in depth conversation with each other and with the sayings of Wise Women throughout the ages.    Anne Moore and Martha Sterne  invite you to share the questions, challenges,  and thanksgiving of our lives.  Call Martha (404-255-4023) or Anne (404-277-7992) with any questions and to let us know you are interested.  The Wisdom Circle is open so bring a friend.

Education for Ministry (EFM) is a wonderful program for adult Christian formation developed and administered by the School of Theology in Sewanee. The EFM group at Holy Innocents’ will reconvene September 15, meeting Wednesday evenings 6:45-8:45. The only prerequisites are a desire to explore the riches of our faith and ask all the questions you have never voiced. Please contact John Donnelly or Ursula Simmons who serve as group mentors, for registration or more information.

HIcare is Holy Innocents’ e-mail based prayer network. Parishioners who become members will receive periodic e-mails concerning births, hospitalizations, deaths, and other life events in our parish family.
