Several times a year a group of parishioners prepare a meal for this Parish for the mentally and developmentally disabled near Grant Park. The group travels to the parish, participates in Eucharist and serves the meal. Volunteers can either prepare the meals and/or serve them. The meals for about 80 are prepared earlier in the day that the group goes to Holy Comforter. Those that are serving the meal meet in HI’s parking lot at 5:30 to drive to the parish. The evening is completed at Holy Comforter around 8:30 p.m. For further information contact Ann Hobbs.
