Stewardship
As members of the body of Christ, we recognize and affirm the importance of being stewards of God’s mission and ministry in this world.
As members of the body of Christ, we recognize and affirm the importance of being stewards of God’s mission and ministry in this world. Historically, stewards cared for the food and drink of their guests. Today, stewardship reflects this ancient understanding, calling our attention to the care of something owned by someone else. As Christians, we are stewards of all that God has entrusted to us; we realize that all things – our life, family, friends, possessions, and indeed the entire world – are God’s and not ours.
Therefore, our stewardship at Holy Innocents’ reflects this understanding. How we provide resources to support the ministry of the church is a reflection of our trust, our trust that all things indeed come from God. We strive to grow in our ministry to each other and to our community by reflecting this foundational understanding. We hope you will join us as good stewards of all God has entrusted to our care.

Automatic Bank Payments & Credit Card Payments
Many parishioners find that it is easy to pay by monthly credit card debits or by making periodic payments through online banking. Please remember that credit cards take a percentage of the transaction as a fee, but online bank drafts send all of your pledge to the church.
To set up an automatic bank withdrawal, simply contact your bank and let them know that you would like to set up a reoccurring payment to Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church. You will need to provide them with the amount, our address, and the date(s) in which you would like these payments made. A check will be automatically cut and drafted to HIEC from your bank.
To pay online with a credit card, click the "give" button below.
Should you have any questions regarding your pledge, payment history, etc., please contact Susan Farrell at or 404-255-4023.
