Holy Innocents' Vestry members play an important leadership role in our community. Look below to learn about this year nominees, and don't forget to join us for our parish annual meeting on Sunday, January 30 in Inglett Hall to vote in the newest members!

Ham Henson and Nan have been members of HolyInnocents' Episcopal Church since 2010. Ham has been active at Holy Innocents over the years including flower guild, lay reader, and usher. Ham is a retired consultant. He and Nan have been married for 49 years. They have three grown children, Jill, Rob, and Amanda. All three live in the Atlanta area with their 10 grandchildren. Ham looks forward to working with the Vestry and all parishioners in the community of Holy Innocents.

Sarah Hyser has been a member of HolyInnocents' Episcopal Church since 2007. Prior to that, she attended HIEC for some time as a child with her family and was married to her husband Stephen here in 1997. Fun fact..they were the last couple to be married in the old bucket seat nave prior to the renovation in 1997. Over the years Sarah has enjoyed being a coordinator and teacher for VBS, a Sunday school teacher, going on women's and family retreats, serving on the nominating committee and getting to know some wonderful ladies in the Brown Bag Bible Study. Sarah & Stephen live in Roswell and have two daughters. Molly attends UGA and Meg  is a sophomore at Centennial High School. Both have been involved in acolyting and youth group over the years. She is also the daughter of parishioners, Diane & Bill Clark. Sarah is honored to be a part of the Vestry and serving our HIEC community.

Meredith Johnson has been a member of Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church since 2009. Over the years, she has volunteered in the children's programs, teaching the LEGO's class for the last two years, and serving on the Children's Committee prior to that. Meredith is the Executive Director of Alumni Relations at the University of Georgia. She is married to Terrell Johnson and is the mother of Mary Clifton and Thomas. She loves to build community and is very much looking forward to serving this special congregation.

Fleming McCrystal has been a member of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church since 2009. She has been active at Holy Innocents’ in many ways over the years, most recently on the Stewardship Committee and the Children’s Committee. She is a Clinical Procedural Specialist for B. Braun Medical. She is the wife of Shawn McCrystal and mother to Mary Brooks, a sixth grader at the school. Fleming is looking forward to serving our church community as a new member of the Vestry and celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Parish!

My name is Milly Peterson and I am in 10th grade at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School. I have been attending church here since about 2016 and I am actively involved in youth group events and Sunday School. I enjoy running track and field and am currently doing JV basketball cheer.

My name is Tyler Smith, and I am so excited to be part of youth vestry this year! I’m currently a junior at Holy Innocents and have been a member of the church for as long as I can remember. Outside of school, I volunteer with the Horizon’s Atlanta Program and with the Atlanta History Center. As far as my involvement with the church goes, I enjoy participating in Sunday School weekly and the EYC events that we have, and additionally, I love working with children and stay involved with that via volunteering at VBS and Children’s Chapel.
