Giving Day @ HIEC

Weekly

The Rev. Kenya Thompson
The Outreach Committee enthusiastically invites you to Giving Day on Saturday, December 4! From 9 AM - 12 PM, we will have stations around the HIEC parking lot where you can pick up a hot chocolate and drop off donations. Join us to show your community support as well as support for four of our outreach partners for the holidays! We will collect the following:

FOR CAC

- Gift Cards for children: $20/25/30 cards for Target or Walmart

FOR LAKE FOREST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

- New or gently used, cleaned winter items: coats/scarves/hats

- TREASURE BOX items for teachers; there can be multiple purchases since we have so many kids 😊

FOR SOLIDARITY PANTRY

- Winter coats for adults and children

- Gift cards ranging from $30 - $100 to support their Secret Santa requests from 500 children in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody

- Sponsor a family - (Note: this a different opportunity than CAC.) If you are able to help, sign up by clicking HERE

If you are able to sponsor a family for Solidarity Pantry all gifts must be delivered to the Solidarity Pantry drop off site from December 10th – 12th. Follow the instructions in the link. Do not bring gifts for Solidarity Pantry Sponsor a Family to the Church.

FOR EMMAUS HOUSE

- Gift Cards: $25 cards from Kroger, Walmart or Target

- Sports balls

- Stuffed animals

- Donations can also be made online by clicking HERE

We would be grateful if you could please begin to pick up these items during your shopping runs this month. We hope to show our community partners that we continue to be strong supporters during the holidays. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the church!

NOTE: Volunteers are needed for Giving Day on December 4 to help us collect donations. And, if you would like to learn more about the Outreach Committee, please contact Lindsay Fluke today!
